Data Model Service Design Blueprint

Large initiative to create a data model leveraging the FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) framework to enable the VP Platform to create care pathways (i.e., nudges, recommendations, health interventions) that can engage Members where they are on their health journey, guiding them towards healthy outcomes.

Coach Messaging

Asynchronous and synchronous messaging is one of the biggest feature requests from members. In 2021 we offered an asynchronous messaging modal to compliment telephonic coaching. I led a team of two designers and a PM to map out the experience, from blueprinting out our different use cases, journey map, storyboarding, and wireframes. Once we were confident in the direction, the designer continued with UX and visual design.

Reporting

Account Managers have prepared Client reports from Tableau but they are visually unappealing and confusing. I stepped in to help the team create a visual style guide for visualizations and redesigned some of the key reports.

HomeBase for Health

In addition to fixing usability issues, we needed a way to drive users to Virgin Pulse’s new HomeBase for Health offerings which expanded upon Wellness and activity tracking to holistic health offerings including identifying gaps in care, condition management, and navigating employer benefits. This project was also part of a larger micro-services strategy to empower individual teams to manage their own features across the platform
